While robots increase manufacturing effectiveness by 5 to 10 times, and this has been proven many times for many years by car manufacturers, robots are still used only in 5% of potential use cases overall.

There are 2 reasons for this:

Every move a robot makes must be programmed. And it's long and costly. Programming can take from several hours to several weeks, sometimes even months. You can imagine how expensive it is for the manufacturer.

Real production differs from ideal blueprints, because workpieces usually deviate from their CAD models. But robots operate with almost zero tolerance for any deviations in the workpiece or its position. So robots can't cope with any irregular stuff. Compared to humans, robots can not adapt to changes that happen around them.

ABAGY has solved this problem


creating the software that automatically converts 3D CAD drawings and technological instructions into tasks for robots, without any need of programming by human engineers. ABAGY-enabled robots are truly flexible and adaptable with computer vision, which makes work for an industrial robot possible even in non-ideal real-world conditions, dealing with imperfect details.

Senior Territory Sales Manager
Positions are open in the 3 following regions: USA/Canada, Europe and Russia.
Full-time job. Remote role.

We are looking for an experienced Manager to drive sales development resulting in a number of Abagy product installations as well as sales revenue growth in the region. You will report to the VP of Sales and Business Development, who lives in Russia.

What You’ll Do
  • Direct sales and sales via partners: Sales management; Sales tracker and Field sales trainer for Abagy team as well as for partners’ Account Executives: Customer development and Business development. 
  • This is an outcomes-based role, but your expertise on the requisite methodologies to get the team there is what is going to drive day-to-day success. You are equally comfortable training and mentoring your team on both inbound and outbound.
  • Drive rapid growth to establish Abagy as the market leader in your region. 
  • You own the overall KPI metrics; from top to bottom.
  • Ensure impeccable sales process oversight for all funnel prospect interactions.

We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to drive our direct sales resulting in a number of contracts closed and top-line revenue for the organization. 

What You’ll Do
  • This is an outcome-based tole where number of closed deals matters.
  • Sell firstly the idea of robotics to the customer, then engineering robotic projects, then Abagy software. It’s not selling a catalog item, but rather defining the solution for each particular customer. After a sales call with you, our customers should feel invigorated and educated. 
  • Drive the sales process from discovery to contract execution for organization’s products and services. Abagy can act as a General Contractor for robotic solutions, hardware integrator and software vendor and integrator. 
  • Manage sales pipeline and build strong partnerships with customers. 
  • Field new prospective customers and perform customer discovery interviews. 
  • Detailed and thorough understanding of customers’ production process and details; processing customer requests with the Technical Sales Manager and Engineering team; creating ROI calculations and commercial proposals.
  • Focus on identifying and solving the needs of our customers, rather than “selling” our product.

Sales Applications Engineer
Positions are open in 3 following regions: the USA, Europe and Russia.
Full-time job. Partly remote role.

We are looking for an experienced Technical sales /Application engineer to support Account executives in customer meetings as well as to provide Account Executives with all required technical materials, calculations and proposals for the customers. 
At the moment we are primarily focused on robotic welding solutions. 
You will report to the Territory Manager in your region and Head of the Engineering Department in Russia.

What You’ll Do
  • Support Account Executives in meetings with customers with technical Q&A about Abagy products and services. 
  • Understand and articulate in detail the intricacies and complexities of prospective customers’ manufacturing and production environment.
  • Develop standard and out-of-the-box ideas on robotic projects implementation. Evaluate and recommend solutions.
  • Discover, process and develop customers’ technical requests, read technical drawings and 3D CAD models.
  • Build cost-analysis in a high-mix manufacturing environment based on current state vs future state operations with a precise level of accuracy
  • Work with account executives to develop quotes based on client-specific needs
  • Partner with our in-house product team, partners and existing customers to organize and implement product demonstrations for the new prospects.
  • Actively participate in the evaluation and selection process for new technology and robotic integration partners.
  • Travel to different customer sites as needed.

Who You Are
  • You have a bachelors or master degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Robotics or a related field.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in technical sales, project management or engineering in the field of welding equipment, industrial robotic solutions or industrial equipment. 
  • You know how to define and process customer engineering requests: how to perform technical customer development interviews: how to read technical drawings.  
  • You have a genuine passion for technology and robotics. 
  • You can generate ideas on how to solve customers’ technical issues. 
  • You have experience in projects with the following equipment: CNC machines, factory automated lines, welding systems, painting systems, robotic and other technical solutions. 
  • You understand the welding process in terms of parameter development, material composition, qualification standards, etc.

We are presently seeking Sales Development Representatives to help us continue our rapid scaling and create brand awareness. You will have access to a cutting-edge sales stack and the opportunity to grow fast in a rapidly scaling global firm. You will report to the Territory Manager in your region.

What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for creating brand awareness, account prospecting, qualifying leads, and building a pipeline of sales opportunities for the sales organization.
  • Grow customers base with outbound effort.
  • Your KPI is to convert cold calls or emails into 5+ sales calls/online meetings per week with our Account Executives (meaning, the leads had a breakthrough and are dying for us to help them).
  • Lead generation via bulk emailing campaigns, LinkedIn, Google Search, networking, social media, cold calls and other methods.
  • Coordinate the first 25 – 30% of the sales cycle for Sales Teams, including account research, contact discovery, sales engagement, product presentation, and opportunity creation.

VP and Sales Team Assistant
The position is open in Russia.
Full-time job. Partly remote role.

We are presently seeking the VP and International Sales Support Specialist who can perform effective support in different fields to ensure effective and productive work of the VP and Sales team focusing primarily on deal closing and customer and partnership relationships. You will report to the VP of sales and business development, who is based in Russia.

What You’ll Do
  • It’s a multitasking position to provide the VP and sales team support in various operational duties.
  • Work directly with the VP of sales and business development performing daily activities (e.g. sales pipeline analysis, KPIs analysis, emails, LinkedIn messages, dealing with translation subcontractors, communication with partners and customers, etc).
  • Ensure professional cross-functional collaboration and alignment as a part of daily routine and project assignments (Teams: Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Execution, Development, Legal and Accounting).
  • Create and develop any kind of sales and marketing materials based on VPs requests: presentations, quotations and proposals, calculations, event landing pages, boards in Miro, etc.
